Swedish Luxury - Nordic Chic in summer

Midsummer, Sámi culture and unforgettable nature experiences

Even in summer, Swedish Lapland promises fascinating nature experiences with a touch of adventure in unspoilt wilderness, with Nordic culture, top-class architectural hotel highlights, cosmopolitan, caring hosts and Arctic cuisine, the trendy, hip New Nordic Cuisine, the taste of Scandinavia. Swedish Lapland is endless forests, rolling hills, roaring rivers, rural romance, white nights with unbelievably soft colours at midsummer, where it never gets dark. But above all, it is the perfect place for unforgettable outdoor adventures. Nordic cuisine promises honestly prepared food, freshly made from local produce, completely natural, because the purity of nature and the many great ingredients are right on the doorstep, adapted over centuries to life in the Arctic environment. Immerse yourself in the Sami culture and meet people to exchange ideas. In Sweden, the Sami cover the northernmost part, a nation without borders, but not without a history, culture and language that is very much intertwined with the reindeer.

"I love the soft pastel colours in midsummer in this country with its wonderfully unspoilt nature. Just like the trendy Nordic design and uniquely cool hotels. There's this one hotel room that looks like a bird's nest and another that resembles a UFO. Then there's a hotel in the trees and one that was built entirely out of ice and snow in winter. And then there's the one where the ruins of an old railway workshop run right through the kitchen and the wine cellar is an old grease pit. Crazy, but very trendy when it comes to unusual addresses."
