In der Regenzeit etwa von November bis März kann es insbesondere im hohen Atlasgebirge zu Überflutungen kommen. Aufgrund seiner geschützten Lage am Fuß des Hohen Atlasgebirges herrscht in Marrakesch ein gemäßigtes Klima. Die beste Reisezeit erstreckt sich ab September/Oktober bis Mai/Juni. Während der Sommermonate wird es sehr heiß.
