A city on seven hills - Amman: You start the day with a visit to the city citadel. From the hill of the citadel you can enjoy a unique view over the capital. Then you will stroll through the old market in the old town and visit the Roman theatre. Around midday, you will head into the desert! To the east of the city lie countless historical ruins: castles, fortresses, towers, baths, farmhouses, caravan bases and palaces converted into fortresses, traditionally known as desert castles. The individual castles offer interesting sights such as the frescoes and domes in the baths of Qasr Amra, the fortress-like, enigmatic Qasr Kharanah and the medieval Islamic basalt fortress at Azraq. You leave Petra and drive through the bizarre erosion formations of Wadi Rum. Your 2-hour four-wheel drive tour* through the red sand dune fields, whose magic even Lawrence of Arabia could not resist, begins in the Bedouin oasis of Rum. *The journey takes place in local vehicles (not in the touring car).
After this rustic adventure, you continue your journey to the Dead Sea. Once you arrive at the hotel, your guide will bid you farewell. If you like, you can end the day with a dip in the Dead Sea. However, the high salt content of the lake will make deep immersion difficult. So let yourself drift!

The confirmation must also be accompanied by a copy of the passport of the person(s) with parental authority.
German citizens require a visa to enter Jordan. At the time of entry into Jordan, the passport must still have a minimum validity of 6 months.
A single-entry visa can be applied for at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Jordan in Berlin, but is also issued at Queen Alia International and Aqaba airports. The visa fee of currently 40,- JOD (Jordanian Dinar) must be paid immediately at the airports in Jordanian Dinar (exchange offices/ ATM available).
