Breakfast at the hotel. Time to discover the city on your own.
Enjoy a walk through the heart of Naples: in the narrow streets of Spaccanapoli, where the palaces, churches and convents - all architectural treasures - are located. How about a visit to the Gesù Nuovo church and the Santa Chiara complex? In addition to the church, which houses the tombs of Maria Elisabetta di Valois and Carlo D'Angiò, you can linger in the cloister, which is covered with seventeenth-century frescoes.
The Pio Monte della Misericordia Foundation, which was restored thanks to private donations, is also worth a visit. The building houses a church and a hospice, but is famous for the painting "The Seven Works of Mercy" by Caravaggio.
Lunch and dinner on your own.
The afternoon is at your disposal for individual explorations. It is also interesting to take a walk in the lively Vomero neighbourhood at a higher altitude with a wonderful view of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
