6★ Frigate Island Private, Seychelles

A perfect combination of first-class service and a life in harmony with nature

Fregate Island Private: Immerse yourself in a revitalised paradise - reopening in 2025!
From the second half of 2025, you can look forward to a new-look Fregate Island Private. Following extensive renovation and modernisation, the luxury resort will open its doors and invite you to redefine luxury while remaining true to nature.

The glittering and unspoilt jewel of the Seychelles awaits you with 17 newly designed villas that will blend harmoniously with nature. Glass, stone and light-coloured wood will dominate the design and create an ambience of pure well-being. Modern technology, partial use of solar energy and an optimised road system will ensure sustainable luxury and minimise the ecological footprint. The island's unspoilt nature, including the endangered magpie thrush, the Fregate beetle and the Aldabra giant tortoise, will continue to take centre stage. It is a place where you can get away from it all and enjoy pure relaxation and luxury in the midst of unspoilt nature.

"The operators of Fregate Island are not only specialists in genuine barefoot luxury. They are also successful conservationists who have already been able to settle over 4,200 giant tortoises on the island. It is fascinating to see how these primitive creatures move their mighty bodies up to the high rocks of the island."
