There is something for every taste in the large street food area. The first floor is dedicated to Estonian design and handicrafts - a paradise for shoppers.

Depending on flight times, a guided city tour with a German-speaking guide will take place in the afternoon (duration 2 hours). This will give you a first impression of the pretty old town centre.
For dinner, the Tchaikovsky restaurant awaits you with a 5-course menu in your hotel. The restaurant shines with a beautiful chandelier and gold-framed pictures. The cuisine is classic French with modern Russian accents.
In the morning, you will first go to the Cathedral Hill, which is the city's landmark. Here you can admire the official building of the Estonian president from the outside. Tallinn Castle with the Long Hermann, a medieval corner tower of the castle, is also located here. Another building worth seeing is the magnificent Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. You will also visit Pirita Beach, the largest bathing beach in Tallinn and a favourite destination for city dwellers. The afternoon is at leisure. Dinner is planned at Restaurant 180*, a creation by Michelin-starred chef Matthias Diether. His visually impressive dishes have earned him two Michelin stars. Look forward to a tasting menu with a multitude of flavour and texture contrasts in the modern harbour district just outside the city gates.
Today we head out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Our first destination is Sagadi Manor in Lahemaa National Park. The history of the manor is over 500 years old, and in addition to the castle-like main building, there are still many outbuildings, avenues, ponds and the well-tended park. Palmse Manor also looks back on a long history and was the first completely renovated manor complex in Estonia. The palm house is a particular eye-catcher. Stay at Vihula Manor Country Club by the Mustoja River in Lahemaa National Park. The manor house was named "Historic Hotel of Europe 2020" and is a relaxed and luxurious place for your stay in the countryside. Dinner is served in the Vihula Manor Restaurant.

The day is at your leisure. In the grounds of your hotel there are many beautiful walks to a small water lily pond and along the river, which meanders through the castle park with its old trees. Bear watching tours are also on offer. Those who prefer a more relaxed pace can hire a bike or spend some leisure time in the excellent spa.
Today you will return to Talinn. You will be picked up from the hotel, after which you will have the afternoon at leisure.

Today you will take a trip to the TOHI gin distillery. This modern distillery is located right next to an old manor house. The gin is flavoured with juniper berries, cloudberries, immortelle, cardamom and passion fruit. Experience the production of this delicacy before you are taken back to Tallinn. The rest of the day is at leisure.
You will be collected from the hotel and driven to the airport for your return flight.

German citizens require a passport to enter the country, which must be valid for 3 months beyond the date of return. Citizens of the EU, Switzerland and Liechtenstein do not require a visa to travel to Estonia. The Baltic states are members of the Schengen Agreement. A valid passport is required when travelling to Estonia. Children also require their own identity document (children's passport with their own passport photo). Children's entries in a parent's passport are not recognised.
There are no vaccination requirements for direct entry from Germany. The Federal Foreign Office recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute for children and adults (see: www.rki.de) when travelling and completing them if necessary.
The best times to visit Estonia are spring, autumn and winter. Tallinn, the capital and cultural centre of Estonia, borders the Gulf of Finland and is characterised by a continental climate with an oceanic influence. Due to its latitude, which is practically the same as that of Stockholm in Sweden, it snows heavily in winter and therefore has its charm. The rather short spring lasts from April to mid-June, temperatures rise significantly and the days get longer. In summer, mild heat characterises the wetter days.
