The hotel
The luxury resort is just a 30-minute walk from the centre of Ubud. The COMO UMA also offers a regular free shuttle to the lively town, which is considered the cultural centre of Bali. Surrounded by coconut palms and banyan trees, the luxury resort overlooks the Tjampuhan Valley and the Oos River. The 46 guest rooms and suites exude the charm of a traditional Indonesian village. At the same time, the bedrooms, planted courtyards and infinity plunge pools fulfil a tranquil, contemporary flair.
Room
These four very stylish suites have a second room that is ideal as a living room or extra bedroom. They also offer a sun deck with outdoor furniture and garden views as well as a plunge pool. Spacious bathrooms with bathtub and separate shower are your private oasis.
Gastronomy
The focus at COMO UMA Ubud is on modern, light cuisine with the utmost respect for local flavours. The Kemiri Restaurant revives Indonesian culinary traditions and also prepares contemporary interpretations of the cuisines of neighbouring countries. The Asian dishes are complemented by the Uma Cucina Restaurant and the lounge bar in the street-facing restaurant in front of the COMO Uma Ubud, which serves Italian cuisine. The healthy COMO Shambhala Cuisine offers lighter, yet nutritious dishes. There is a special children's menu for the youngest guests.
The weekly themed programme invites you to enjoy special menus and traditional performances. One of the culinary highlights is the Balinese barbecue on Mondays with smoky cocktails in the Uma Bar.
For private dining in Bali, the experienced catering staff will be happy to arrange gourmet meals for you in romantic, exotic locations ─ on your private terrace, by the pool or on the manicured lawns. The semi-private dining area to the side of the Kemiri Restaurant is particularly popular with families.
Wellness, Spa, Sport
Bali is known for its calming soul. Guests at COMO Uma Ubud feel this in each of the Asian-inspired treatments at the resort's COMO Shambhala Retreat. Few places in Bali are as idyllic, where wooden paths meander between ponds filled with koi carp and lush jungle greenery. The extensive range of massages, treatments and facials and the gentle sea breezes ensure deep relaxation.
The open-air yoga pavilion is located high above the Tjampuhan Valley and offers you a magnificent view of the river. Here you can take part in free daily classes or book private yoga sessions with our experienced teachers. With four idyllic treatment rooms, reflexology area, steam rooms, fitness centre and a 25-metre outdoor swimming pool, the facilities epitomise the peaceful, health-giving nature of Como and Bali.
