Located directly on the famous Ha My Beach, also known as China Beach, the resort offers guests exclusive access to a private stretch of beach with unspoilt views of the South China Sea and the Cham Islands. This tranquil and natural setting, surrounded by tropical greenery and extensive gardens, promises deep relaxation. At the same time, the resort is an ideal starting point for cultural explorations: The historic and UNESCO-protected town of Hoi An is only about ten minutes away by car and invites you to linger with its lantern-lit alleyways and old merchant houses. In addition, the location of Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai provides convenient access to two other UNESCO World Heritage Sites, offering guests a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Vietnam's rich heritage. Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is also only about 30 to 35 minutes away, making the journey extremely convenient.
Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai spans a sprawling 35-hectare estate and is home to 100 luxurious villas offering an oasis of tranquillity and exclusivity. Each accommodation has been designed according to the Vietnamese principles of Feng Shui and pays tribute to traditional garden houses, recognisable by features such as platform beds, pillars and the characteristic flat pitched tiled roofs.
The villas offer an impressive variety and size: the one-bedroom villas start at a generous 80 square metres and are available with either garden or sea views. Many of these exquisite residences have private terraces or patios, spacious bathrooms with separate outdoor showers in private gardens and are equipped with modern amenities such as iPod docking stations, free Wi-Fi and luxurious king-size beds. For guests who want even more privacy and luxury, a range of pool villas are available, with private pools ranging in size from 250 square metres to a sprawling 520 square metres for three-bedroom villas. Some of the largest villas even offer up to five bedrooms clustered around private infinity pools, making them ideal for larger families or groups.
German nationals require a visa to enter Vietnam if their stay is longer than 45 days.
German nationals can enter the country without a visa for stays of up to 45 days. This regulation is currently valid until 14 March 2028. Upon entry, the presentation of a return or onward travel ticket may be required.
A visa is required for stays of more than 45 days or for multiple entries. This can be applied for in various ways:
E-visa: This is the most commonly used method. An electronic visa can be applied for online via the official website of the Vietnamese immigration authorities and is valid for stays of up to 90 days (including multiple entries). The processing time is usually around three working days.
Visa at the Vietnamese mission abroad: The visa can also be applied for in advance at the Vietnamese embassy in Berlin or a consulate general.
Visa on arrival (Visa on Arrival): This is possible at international airports in Vietnam, but usually requires a prior "Approval Letter" from a Vietnamese travel agency and is subject to fees. It is advisable to choose this option only if there is no other possibility.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry (or the validity of the visa) and have at least two blank pages. Your hotel is usually responsible for registering you with the local police.
No compulsory vaccinations are required for direct entry into Vietnam from Germany, unless you are travelling from a yellow fever area or have been in transit there for a longer period of time.
The Federal Foreign Office strongly recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute for children and adults (www.rki.de) and updating them if necessary.
Vaccinations against hepatitis A in particular are recommended as travel vaccinations. For longer stays or special exposure, additional vaccinations against dengue fever, hepatitis B, typhoid, rabies and Japanese encephalitis should be considered. Individual travel medical advice is recommended in advance.
Central Vietnam (Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An): The climate is tropical. The dry season from February to August offers plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures, ideal for beach holidays. The rainy season is from September to January, with the heaviest rainfall and typhoons often occurring between September and November.
