The warm waters of the Indian Ocean around North Island are full of life: Corals glow in all colours and are home to an equally colourful variety of marine life. Spotted eagle rays, parrotfish, reef sharks, angelfish, giant barracudas and sailfish move elegantly through the unspoilt beauty of the waters. Depending on the season, you may even encounter whale sharks and tawny nurse sharks on your diving and snorkelling trips. Hawksbill turtles and green sea turtles also offer an unforgettable spectacle, emerging from the sea to nest on the beaches depending on the time of year. On land, giant tortoises and a variety of endemic birds, fluorescent geckos and Seychelles fruit bats, called flying foxes, are at home. All meals are prepared according to your personal preferences and wishes or on the recommendation of the chef. You are also always well advised when it comes to wine pairing. You can dine anywhere on the island - on the island piazza, in your villa or by moonlight on one of the many secluded beaches around the island. Whatever you decide: The same high level of service and culinary masterclass awaits you wherever you go. The "Villa Master" will personally take care of you and your wishes. A variety of fruit and vegetables are grown in the hotel's own island garden.
Nature conservation is more than just an integral part of North Island's philosophy: it was only through a particularly comprehensive and ambitious rehabilitation and conservation programme that the formerly severely damaged island ecosystem was able to regain its original natural richness. With the "Noah's Ark Project", the initiators also created a safe haven for endemic species. The management of North Island invites you to take part in activities with which you can actively support environmental and species protection on the island. It's worth it: more than 200 plant species have been identified in 16 different habitats. The swamp area of the central plateau is home to giant tortoises and a variety of water birds. The island is home to endemic, extremely rare animal species and even boasts prehistoric vegetation.
Children up to 17 years stay free of charge in the villa with 2 full-paying adults. The transfer takes place by helicopter during daylight hours (approx. between 7 am and 5 pm).

The Island Piazza is located in the centre of the bright green island. The tropical climate in the Seychelles is influenced by monsoons. Between December and March, the northwest monsoon brings heavy rain to the islands, while the stormy, dry southeast monsoon influences the climate of the Seychelles from May to September. In April and from October to November there is a relatively windless phase. Despite these different conditions, the average temperature remains constant at around 30 degrees.
German nationals do not require a visa to enter the Seychelles. Upon entry, the passport must be valid until at least the end of the planned duration of the trip and have at least two free pages.
No proof of vaccination is required for direct entry from Germany. However, the Federal Foreign Office recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute and completing them if necessary.
