A valid passport is required to enter Aruba. German, Austrian and Swiss nationals travelling for up to 30 days do not require a visa.
When entering the country, an entry form, the ED Card (Embarkation-Disembarkation Card), must be completed. The entry card can also be applied for online before travelling.
No specific vaccinations are required to enter Aruba. However, it is recommended that travellers check their vaccination status and ensure that routine vaccinations are up to date. Aruba, with its year-round warm temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius, offers a constant backdrop for unforgettable adventures. The best time to visit is typically between March and August, when the sun shines, the chance of rain is low and the average maximum temperature is a pleasant 28 degrees Celsius. With water temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius, these months are ideal for beach activities and exploring the island.
Although the "rainy season" lasts from October to February, Aruba is largely spared heavy rainfall. It gets particularly dry from February to April, making these months a popular choice for visitors. The high season from December to April not only attracts tourists, but cruise ships also frequently dock during this time. However, the summer months from June to October are also attractive, as Aruba is rarely hit by tropical storms, making it an ideal year-round destination.
