The Azura Quilalea is located on a secluded island off the northern coast of Mosabik. It is part of the large Quirimbas National Park, which stretches from the African bush to the Indian Ocean - an animal and plant paradise. Gentle tourism is a top priority in one of the best snorkelling and diving areas in the region.

A visa is required to enter Mozambique. This must be obtained from one of Mozambique's diplomatic missions before travelling to the country. If trips to neighbouring countries are planned, a multiple-entry visa (visto mùltiplo) should be applied for before departure to Mozambique. Travellers should not exceed the length of stay permitted in the visa, as there is a risk of heavy fines. When entering the country, travellers may be asked to present their return flight ticket, funds for the duration of their stay, details of hotel accommodation, etc.
A passport that is valid for at least six months is required. Children require their own children's passport or passport that is valid for at least six months after travelling.

Mozambique is almost entirely part of the humid tropics with a wet and a dry season. During the rainy season, which lasts from October to March, around 80% of the annual precipitation falls. In the northern coastal zone up to about the Zambezi, there are only slight temperature fluctuations throughout the year. The average daytime temperatures from October to May are around 32°C. In the remaining months, it is only slightly cooler with temperatures around 29°C.
There are no vaccination requirements for direct entry from Germany. The Federal Foreign Office recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute for children and adults (see: www.rki.de) when travelling and completing them if necessary.
