After the charter flight arrives in Longyearbyen, you will be transferred to the ship. Check in and enjoy the first moments on board your home at sea.

Welcome to a spectacular terrain of discovery! On a flexible course, your small expedition ship connects Arctic longing destinations, which you discover actively on hikes and various tours. Does Spitsbergen already awaken your pioneering spirit? Then follow us to the home of polar foxes, whales, walruses and polar bears. Willem Barents discovered the archipelago around 430 years ago and established its legend. See for yourself, for example in the Liefdefjord in front of the ice formations of the Monaco Glacier.
The Smeerenburgfjord is not the only place where you have the chance to spot whales. In the small settlement of Ny Alesund, the stories of past adventures are in the air - and questions about the future are close at hand: here, researchers are studying the consequences of climate change. Named after the French bank holidays, the 14th of July Glacier celebrates the bizarre beauty of nature with its tongue of ice in front of dark mountains.
The wildlife is also impressive - walruses often gather in herds on the small island of Prins Karls Forland, with males weighing up to a tonne. With luck, your dream of watching polar bears, the "kings of the Arctic", from a respectful distance from the deck will also come true.
After the first few days full of adventure and expeditions, you now have the opportunity to let the experiences sink in and let yourself drift. Attend one of the exciting lectures in the Hanseatic Lounge or enjoy the marvellous sea view from the sauna. Indulge your taste buds in one of the restaurants or relax in the Observation Lounge or on your private balcony.
Your explorations in Iceland will take you between majestic landscapes and rich birdlife. Gain an insight into typical life in the middle of the North Fjords in the remote and rarely visited Saudarkrokur. Guillemots and kittiwakes have found a protected home here: Birdwatching on the island of Drangey takes you to a tufted rock rising almost 200 metres above the sea.
The fishing village of Isafjördur will transport you to the ruggedly beautiful Westfjords with their indented coastline and steep table mountains. Marvel at the Dynjandi waterfalls, or alternatively take a bike tour to the Oshólar lighthouse. Cruising off Latrabjarg is characterised by the thousands of puffins and guillemots that populate the bird cliffs.
From Reykjavik, you will once again actively discover the power of nature. The adventure on Langjökull1 will fascinate you with a visit to an ice cave on Iceland's second largest ice cap. Glaciers and volcanoes lie at your feet as you fly over the island of fire and ice1. With a bit of luck, you might spot puffins off the coast of Iceland on a trip in a RIB boat1.

Your adventure days in Greenland are characterised by ice, amazement and the spirit of discovery. Your manoeuvrable expedition ship is perfect for this. You will sail deep into a fantastic fjord landscape and board the Zodiacs again and again for exciting trips and landings. Each photo opportunity seems to surpass the last, as in Skjoldungensund. On both sides, mountains rise several hundred metres into the air.
On the ice-bound journey through Prins Christian Sund, colourful fishermen's huts line the shores, reflected in the glacier-fed waters. The call "Whales ahead!" can be heard at any time from the bridge, and on board you have the best opportunities for observations from the many open deck areas.
In the Arsukfjord, the small mining settlement has long been abandoned - but musk oxen feel at home here. The capital Nuuk with its modern centre, historic colonial harbour and national museum about the history of the Inuit builds a bridge from tradition to the present.
One of Greenland's most spectacular natural spectacles is the icy Disko Bay. An unforgettable experience is travelling between countless icebergs in a Zodiac. In the old town of Sisimiut, which is well worth seeing, and on a final hike, you will slowly bid farewell to Greenland. The far north will have moved you deeply on this journey.
Today your expedition adventure ends in Kangerlussuaq/Greenland. After arriving in Kangerlussuaq harbour, a transfer will take you to the airport in time for your departure and you will board the charter flight to Zurich.
