„Wenn Sie in Québec oder Montréal unterwegs sind, probieren Sie unbedingt Poutine – das wohl typischste Gericht Québecs. Die Kombination aus knusprigen Pommes frites, Käse-Quarkstückchen („cheese curds“) und einer herzhaften Bratensauce mag zunächst einfach klingen, ist aber in guten Restaurants ein echter Genussklassiker. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Variante mit geschmortem Entenfleisch oder Trüffeljus – etwa im Chez Muffy in Québec City oder im Bouillon Bilk in Montréal.
