Today we continue through the Berkshires to Vermont. The route is characterised by rolling hills and wooded valleys, with colourful deciduous forests, especially in autumn. Wide meadows, farms and small lakes line the route, interspersed with charming villages and historic houses. The view from Mount Greylock Overlook is particularly beautiful. The MassMoca Museum, one of the largest centres for contemporary art in the USA, is also on your route. It is located in a historic factory complex and offers large exhibition spaces that house installations, sculptures, multimedia art and changing special exhibitions. VT-100 North. Continue on VT-100 North, which passes through some of the most picturesque scenery in the state: Rolling hills and wooded mountains characterise the Green Mountains, which glow in bright colours during Indian summer.
