Nearly 200 kilometres above the Arctic Circle lies a unique and magical world of ice and snow. Every year, around 20 million kilos of snow and 350,000 kilos of crystal-clear natural ice are used to create the spectacular Lapland Hotel SnowVillage, which changes in shape, size and design to amaze visitors year after year.

Staying in a snow hotel is a must when travelling to the Arctic regions. A quiet snow room with a warm sleeping bag provides a cosy setting for an overnight stay. The snow hotel is built from ice and snow in November, so it is a little different every year.
In addition to the snow hotel, hut accommodation is also available in the Lainio area. Each cabin has its own sauna. The cabins are located near a ski slope and a snowmobile route.

A quiet snow suite with a warm sleeping bag provides a cosy setting for an overnight stay. We recommend spending the first night of your stay in snow suites, after which it is pleasant to spend the night in a warm log cabin.
Sleeping, eating and visiting the Lapland Hotels SnowVillage is a pleasant experience if you wear suitable winter clothing, as the temperature in the SnowVillage remains at a pleasant -2 and -5 degrees Celsius regardless of the outside temperature. The themes and design of SnowVillage change every year.

Ice Restaurant:
The flavour of pure Lapland is presented in surroundings that are completely unique and unlike anything you have experienced before. If you feel a little cold in your fingers while sitting in the restaurant, Lapland Hotels SnowVillage will provide you with extra warm clothing so that you can enjoy the experience of the north to the full.

Welcome to the coolest bar in the world! Thanks to the thick insulating snow walls, the temperature in the IceBar remains at -5 degrees Celsius, regardless of whether it is +2 or -30 degrees Celsius outside. Wrap yourself in a blanket and enjoy the candlelit atmosphere. Keep warm with a cup of hot chocolate or enjoy a chilled cocktail made with Nordic ingredients.
Your second home. Jávri Lodge is a boutique hotel in the small village of Saariselkä, located in the far north of Finland, 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. This charming Lappish-style hotel is a peaceful, aesthetically pleasing home away from home.
The location of Jávri is ideal! The lodge is on the doorstep of the national park, ideal for hiking trails and outdoor adventures in the national park. In the midst of unspoilt nature, you can marvel at the Northern Lights, hibernate in the cold and darkness of winter and wake up to the never-setting sun as summer replaces winter.
Jávri Lodge welcomes adults aged 18 and over, guaranteeing that you will experience the tranquillity and serenity of Lapland. There are only 13 rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms - six Cosy Doubles, three Spacy Doubles and four Skyview Doubles. All rooms can accommodate two people.
The rooms have been carefully designed using a mix of natural, locally sourced and recycled materials, complemented by minimalist furnishings in neutral tones. The rooms and suites vary in size, style and location, but offer all the tranquillity of the Finnish wilderness experience. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms, but there is a tablet in case you need to log in, and free WiFi.
Overnight stays include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, soft drinks, outdoor clothing, use of the pool, saunas and gym as well as guided activities (except on the day of arrival and departure).

Culinary delights: The Dining Room
When you spend your days exploring nature 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, it's only fitting that your meals are as hearty and sustainable as possible. And while the culinary team at Jávri Lodge will make sure you're satiated, they also promise an exceptional, creative and sustainable menu.
It changes daily, reflecting both seasonality and availability, and is determined by the organic ingredients supplied by trusted and reliable local hunters, fishermen and reindeer herders.
The origin of the products is indeed crucial: the fisherman supplies king crab from northern Norway, fresh wild fish is fished from nearby lakes, reindeer and game products come from a small family business in the neighbourhood.
Dinner is a five- to seven-course menu featuring wild fish, matsutake and other local mushrooms, berries and other local organic delicacies, paired with exquisite wines from small European vineyards. How about matsutake gnocchi and king crab tortellini on one night; reindeer tartare, lamb fillet and cloudberry sorbet on another. The food is always a creative and flavourful surprise, depending on the season and availability, and otherwise limited only by the chef's imagination.

When the temperature drops and you spend a whole day outside in the snow, there's nothing better than returning to the warmth of the lodge's authentic Finnish sauna, swimming in the indoor pool or treating yourself to a relaxing massage.
In the summer months, there are 24 hours of daylight and endless possibilities for activities. Go hiking in Finland's second largest national park or explore the cycle paths around the national park on a bike.
Ruka Peak is a family-run boutique hotel located in one of the most beautiful areas of Finnish Lapland, Kuusamo.

Hotel Ruka Peak has two separate cave saunas, one of which is equipped with changing rooms, a shower and a smoke sauna. The second is equipped with a lounge, a wood-burning fireplace and bathrooms. The caves are bridged by a spacious terrace and a hot tub for 8-10 people and a massage whirlpool for 7 people.
Drinks are served in the sauna world and it is possible to order sauna tapas and champagne there!

Gastronomy
Hotel Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort offers 2 à la carte restaurants. There is also a restaurant in the hotel's steam sauna, Savusauna. The restaurants serve Nordic cuisine with Lappish specialities such as reindeer and grilled salmon, freshly caught. The Finns are very loyal to their culinary roots, which makes their cuisine an important cultural element that every traveller to Finland must experience.
Wellness & Activities
A total of 6 saunas are available to you, each with a relaxation room with an open fireplace. A nearby ice hole provides the perfect way to cool off.
Husky and reindeer safaris can be arranged and a snowmobile ride is also possible. You can also hire cross-country skis, Nordic walking poles and snowshoes.

The Junior Suites at Hotel Kämp are located on the 5th, 6th and 8th floors. The Junior Suites have a beautiful view of the Esplanade Park. Brasserie Kämp is the trendy restaurant that offers both classic French dishes and local specialities. Emo serves modern European dishes with a Nordic twist. The Kämp Bar with its historic ambience is a favourite in Helsinki.
Wellness
The Kämp Spa offers customised holistic treatments and is the perfect oasis to relax. There is a sauna and a wellness gym on the 8th floor of the hotel.
The charming boutique hotel Lilla Roberts with its restaurant and bar is centred around a very special building. The building was originally designed in 1908 by one of Finland's best architects, Selim A. Lindqvist. It served as the headquarters of Helsinki Energy Works and housed, among other things, an electrical substation that supplied the city centre with energy for most of the twentieth century.
Designed in a cool Art Deco style, the hotel offers a quiet courtyard, city views and elegantly furnished rooms in the centre of Helsinki. Lapland is the ideal destination if you want to experience a winter wonderland. In February and March, the days slowly get longer again and the sun rises above the horizon. However, it is still crisp and cold with temperatures of around -15 degrees during the day.
