With the Nomad Greenland luxury camp, we are expanding our portfolio in the Nordic countries with a unique offer. Nomad Greenland is located in the picturesque Disko Bay, about halfway up the west coast of Greenland. This place is characterised by its vast expanse and breathtaking tranquillity and is famous for the majestic Ilulissat Icefjord and fascinating nature.
The luxury tent camp in Greenland:
An extraordinary nature experience is guaranteed. The exclusive seasonal tented camp is shared by a maximum of 10 guests, who are accommodated in a total of six tents. There is around 15 to 20 metres of space between the individual tipis to ensure maximum privacy.
Despite its remoteness, Nomad Greenland offers maximum comfort and luxury. The Scandinavian-style tipis have king-size or single beds, which are furnished with Greenlandic reindeer and sheepskins. A private bathroom with eco-toilets, showers and hot water lets guests forget for a moment that they are in the middle of nowhere. The camp also has wellness facilities with a steam sauna and massage tent. Nomad Greenland not only emphasises the highest quality and maximum comfort, but also sustainability, and offers "low impact luxury" in its most beautiful form.
Culinary delights:
The luxury camp's culinary offerings are also sustainable and impress with their variety and high quality. It is based on wild and foraged foods and includes proteins in the form of tender reindeer fillet, musk ox hot dogs, fresh snow crab, halibut and mussels. Hand-picked herbs, berries and mushrooms provide the necessary flavour. The talented chefs conjure up gourmet dishes from these ingredients every day, with no fixed menus but creative variations depending on availability.
Activities:
After relaxing and quiet hours in the camp, guests are drawn out into the surroundings of Disko Bay, where they can enjoy unforgettable nature experiences and gain insights into the culture of the Inuit. From longline fishing to whale watching, shell collecting, iceberg safaris, berry picking and hiking - the possibilities for nature-loving adventures are endless. The day trip to the Torssukátak and Eqi glaciers, which are unrivalled in size and remoteness, is particularly impressive. On an excursion to the abandoned villages of Qullissat and Tartunaq, visitors can experience the local culture and the traditional way of life of past generations at first hand. An afternoon spent with a local family during a traditional "kaffemik" also offers fascinating insights into life in earlier times.
Season and tips:
The Nomad Greenland luxury camp is open every year from June to September and offers an all-inclusive package that includes transfers from the airport, private accommodation, private tours with a personal guide, exquisite gourmet meals and selected drinks.
