„If you are travelling in Québec or Montréal, be sure to try poutine - probably Québec's most typical dish. The combination of crispy chips, cheese curds and a savoury gravy may sound simple at first, but it is a real classic in good restaurants. The version with braised duck meat or truffle jus is particularly recommended - for example at Chez Muffy in Québec City or Bouillon Bilk in Montréal. Those who prefer sweets should also try maple syrup in all its forms: as a topping on pancakes, as a sweet or, in the colder months, as „Tire sur la neige“ - freshly poured onto snow and twisted into sweet rolls. An unmistakable flavour of Canada & USA!„
