Two picturesque fishermen's townhouses form an unbeatable ensemble right by the sea in the centre of the historic village of Salema. The two houses have been carefully modernised and, with two bedrooms, now fulfil all the wishes of a family or two couples who want to experience typical village life right on the beach.
Allocation
In house 1 you will find a fully equipped kitchen in the entrance area, as well as a bedroom with a large double bed and en-suite shower room. A lift takes you to the first floor, where a bedroom with en-suite shower room awaits you. The best thing up here: the absolutely breathtaking view of the beach and the deep blue Atlantic Ocean right in front of the house.
You can reach the roof terrace of house 2 via a glass bridge. There is a barbecue on the terrace for entertaining evenings, during the day you just have to decide whether you want to use the parasol or snooze in the sun on the comfortable loungers.
House 2 is directly accessible from the street, an independent annex, also located directly on the beach. Here you will find another small kitchen as well as a large, open-plan dining and living room with enough space for 6 people.

The view sweeps far across the Atlantic - Villa Alegria sits majestically on a cliff overlooking Salema beach. Contemporary design, elegance, luxury and sophistication form an unrivalled Mediterranean combination.
Large sliding glass doors lead directly onto the terraces, gardens and the private pool on the roof. The large living areas in white, blue and lilac are bathed in natural light. On two terraces facing east and west, you can enjoy breakfast in the first sun and an evening cocktail at sunset. You have a view of the marvellous coast and the beach of Salema as well as the village and the fishing boats.
On the entrance level, there are two bedrooms with direct sea views and en-suite shower rooms as well as a separate dressing room. On the first floor, the ultra-modern, fully equipped kitchen meets the modern living room and dining area - an inviting place for socialising. On the same level is the master bedroom with a large double bed and free-standing bathtub, which of course also offers views of the beach and ocean. There is also an outdoor dining area with a portable "Kamado Joe" barbecue and east and west facing terraces with views of the coastline as far as Salema and Sagres beach. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with direct access to the pool area and an office.

In the Algarve, you can enjoy a subtropical climate with warm, dry summers and mild, humid winters.
Spring between March and May brings temperatures of 20 degrees. In March you can still expect 11 days of rain, in May there are only six.
It is warmest in summer from June to August. Rain is very rare and the sun shines for an average of 12 hours a day. During the day you can enjoy an average temperature of 28 degrees, and on hot days the breeze from the Atlantic brings welcome cooling. The Atlantic Ocean has a water temperature of 20 degrees.
Even in autumn, from September to November, you can still enjoy warm days with temperatures of around 20 degrees, although the probability of precipitation increases significantly towards the end of the year.
In winter, between December and February, temperatures rarely drop below 10 degrees.
The water temperatures in the Atlantic are quite fresh, but stable: the water is coolest from January to March at 15 - 16 degrees, in summer the sea reaches 20 degrees.
