LUXURY FOR THE SOUL
Welcome to the sustainable hotel in AlUla, a place where nature inspires creative expression, human connection and the search for adventure.
The oasis of al-Ula is located in the very north-west of the country - around 1,100 kilometres from the capital Riyadh. The trading metropolis of Hegra of the Nabataean kingdom was located here 2,000 years ago. More than 100 monumental rock tombs, which were skilfully carved into the sandstone during this period, have been preserved and are now part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The new Habitas AlUla comprises 96 rooms. Guests also have access to a wellness area, a fitness centre, a yoga deck and a pool. The "Tama" restaurant, named after the Aramaic word for "here", serves traditional dishes from Saudi Arabia and the Middle East - such as Muhammara, Kabsa, Singari Fish Sayadiyah and Mandinah Hashee.
Sustainable construction protects the environment
A modular construction method using only organic materials ensures that the impact on the unspoilt natural environment is kept to an absolute minimum. The entire resort could be dismantled in a very short time with little effort and without leaving any traces behind.
The leisure programme at Habitas AlUla ranges from canyon trekking, hikes through the desert, yoga, meditation and breathing exercises to concerts, lectures and open-air cinema evenings and guided walks through al-Ula.
