-2h 25′ Open-Bow motorboat charter with captain from 16:00 to 18:00: You will cruise southwest on the Washington Canal to see the homes of top generals on the water, the National War College, site of the President's Marine One helicopter, the Defence Intelligence Agency, Hains Point as well as a cruise on the Potomac River to see the Pentagon, the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, as well as the Watergate Complex and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. There was a time when Firmdale Hotels were more or less synonymous with London. However, the group's Crosby Street Hotel has changed that. The location on the cobbled street after which it is named is perfect: right in the centre of SoHo and just far enough away from Broadway to have a little privacy. At the same time, the style fits well with a neighbourhood whose artistic residents have transformed an old industrial district into an upscale residential and commercial area. Behind the typical Firmdale warehouse-style metal-framed windows is a heavy dose of English town-meets-country luxury that New York didn't realise it needed.
