Room
Enjoy a stay in one of six luxury villas with thatched domed roofs and huge window fronts, designed in warm earthy and natural colours. Equipped with solid, high-quality furniture, each of the cocoon-like villas has a lounge area with fireplace, bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with double washbasin, shower and bathtub. On the private terrace you can watch the animals undisturbed and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Relax with massages and let the friendly and courteous staff at the lodge spoil you with freshly prepared food and drinks. Go on trekking tours, gorilla safaris and excursions to local coffee and tea plantations. When visiting a tree nursery, you can plant a tree - your own personal contribution to the preservation of this unique natural habitat.
German citizens can enter the country with their passport, which must be valid for six months after travelling. A visa is required. Applications can be made at the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in Berlin or at the international airport on arrival in Rwanda.

Although Rwanda is located almost directly on the equator, the climate is very mild due to the altitude, making the country suitable for travelling all year round. The best time to visit is from June to September and from the end of November to January. The rainy season is from February to May and from mid-September to November.
No special vaccinations are required. However, standard immunisations are recommended. Proof of valid yellow fever immunisation is required when entering the country from yellow fever-endemic areas.

This trip is partially suitable for travellers with reduced mobility, depending on their impairment.
