You can choose from small, intimate celebrations to those where the entire complex is reserved for you. The team on site will discuss the possibilities with you. The five suites can sleep 10 people and two extra beds are available.

The Fortress of Lopud 1483 has a hammam and a sun deck massage with a view of the fortress walls. On the ground floor there is a fitness room equipped with Technogym benches and Kinesis. Spa treatments are available on request. The in-house meditation experts and guest doctors can be arranged by prior arrangement.
The extensive gardens of LOPUD 1483 offer ample space for relaxation, al fresco dining or quiet contemplation and are overgrown with Mediterranean greenery, herbs and indigenous fauna. The centrepiece of the garden overlooking the sea is a fortress that once ensured the safety of the islanders and provided protection and defence against attacks by Ottoman pirates. From the top of the fortress there is a majestic view of the neighbouring island of Šipan and the Mljet National Park.
Take a quiet moment to explore the carefully designed Sacred Garden, which was created by the Arctic shaman Åsa Andersson. The nine different stations are designed for meditation and contemplation and have their roots in ancient Nordic and Sami healing traditions.
Twice a week, guests of the resort are offered a free boat trip to explore the surrounding area. Explore the Elaphiti Islands, including snorkelling in the blue caves of Kolocep.
The elegance and simplicity of Lopud is evident in every aspect of your stay, including the menus created by Chef Marin, which utilise fresh, local produce and home-grown ingredients.
Alfresco dining is a central part of the Lopud experience, from breakfast on the sun terrace to casual barbecues in the idyllic upper gardens and sunset drinks on the terrace atop the old fortress overlooking the surrounding Elaphiti Islands.
Those wishing to dine indoors can enjoy the venerable ambience and the impressive art collection in the refectory or eat pizzas from the wood-fired oven straight from the traditional Croatian bread oven in the cosy atmosphere of the old kitchen.
The 13 original cells have been elegantly converted into five private suites, each with its own bathroom and a view of the sea or the monastery's healing gardens.
Customised joinery and historic plastering techniques were used in the careful restoration. The interior design effortlessly combines handcrafted furniture by Italian designer Paola Lenti with historic Renaissance pieces from the Thyssen-Bornemiza collection. In contrast to the old architecture, the walls are adorned with carefully selected contemporary artworks from the TBA21 collection.
