Only a maximum of 330 guests are on board, which means true intimacy and no waiting times. All cabins and suites have a generous sea view and are between 18m² and 49m² in size. Over half of the cabins have a private balcony. The furnishings in your cabin are made from fine cherry and mahogany woods, the bathrooms are finished in gleaming chrome and white marble, fluffy bathrobes and handmade soaps and toiletries complete the picture.

Service & Cuisine
215 crew members pamper the maximum of 330 guests. This generous ratio allows for the highest level of personalised and unobtrusive service. The maître knows your name and can make discreet suggestions for a special evening or perhaps your wedding day. Top class indulgence of exotic flavours and Polynesian presentation, appeals to all the senses. On board the Paul Gauguin, each dish is created to complement the emotional beauty of the islands. At L'Etoile, one of three restaurants on board the Paul Gauguin, the cuisine is as perfectly composed as the paintings of Gauguin himself. Enjoy brunch at La Veranda or dinner at Le Grill, with freshly grilled Mahi Mahi and a fine Sauvignon Blanc under a cosy starry sky.
On-board activities
Of course, you will also find relaxation on board in the Deep Nature Spa or sporting incentives in the fitness centre. Dance the night away in the nightclub or immerse yourself in the local culture with a Polynesian show in Le Grand Salon. Sunbathe by the pool against a breathtaking backdrop or take a diving course for beginners on deck eight. And the most important thing of all: the marina, a water sports platform at the stern! This starting point for almost all water sports is used almost every day. Go single or double kayaking in the shallow lagoons, stay close to the wind while windsurfing or try your hand at the new trend sport, stand-up paddling. And all this directly from the ship's own marina. Snorkelling equipment is available on board for every guest to hire so that you can fully enjoy the beauty of the atolls.
Private motu
Paul Gauguin Cruises offers you a day on the private Motu Mahana on Taha'a. A motu is one of the small islets that lie directly on the atoll belt of the main island. There we invite you to a beach BBQ, a floating bar, water sports, white sand and palm trees gently swaying in the wind, crystal clear water and Polynesian sounds. Fantastic, relaxing and simply in the middle of paradise.
