The Hermitage Bay Resort, an exquisite 5-star hideaway, is nestled in an unspoilt bay on the west coast of Antigua and Barbuda. This jewel in the middle of the Caribbean is characterised by its harmonious integration into nature: gently rolling hills, tropical gardens and a pristine sandy beach surround the resort.

At the Hermitage Bay Resort, the palate is treated to a symphony of flavours. The gourmet restaurant serves delicious creations made from fresh, regional ingredients, often sourced directly from the resort's own organic garden. From Caribbean specialities to internationally inspired dishes, the menu is a true ode to flavour. Meals are accompanied by fine wines, exotic cocktails and a breathtaking view of the sea, especially at sunset when the sky glows in warm gold and orange tones.
The 25 accommodations at Hermitage Bay are an oasis of luxury and relaxation. Each of the suites has its own terrace with spectacular views - be it of the glittering sea or the green hills. The hillside suites also offer private infinity pools that give the impression of floating directly into the vastness of the Caribbean. Inside, guests can expect an elegant design with natural materials, luxurious furnishings and an open-plan layout that conveys the feeling of being in harmony with nature.
German citizens do not require a visa for a single entry and a stay of up to 60 days, but do require a passport that must be valid for at least six months at the time of entry.
The Caribbean weather is mostly sunny with possible rain showers in the afternoon. The average temperature is a maximum of 32°C in August and 18°C early in the morning in winter. The temperature difference between summer and winter is a maximum of 10°C, with the exception of the mountain regions.
No proof of vaccination is required for direct entry from Germany. However, the Federal Foreign Office recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute and completing them if necessary.
