Mallorca's picturesque capital is an elegant metropolis and its picturesque old town with an architectural mix of Arabic, Spanish-Catalan and Art Nouveau elements is part of its success story. In the centre, shops beckon behind magnificent façades and cafés and bars invite you to linger in beautiful squares. Not far from the fashionable marinas is the venerable cathedral, affectionately known as "La Seu" for short. It began as a purely Gothic building, but at the beginning of the 20th century none other than Antonio Gaudí designed part of its interior.

Moorish influence has decisively shaped the small island and given it the nickname „the white island“. The pretty old town of Ibiza Town, surrounded by mighty fortress walls, has been carefully restored and, like the entire island, is under UNESCO protection. Beyond the spectacular, partly wildly rugged island coast with countless bays, Ibiza shows its traditional side: the original hinterland is crisscrossed by gentle hills with scattered fincas.

The island capital of Mahón boasts the largest natural harbour in the Mediterranean. The harbour of the former capital, Ciutadella, translating to „little town“, lies picturesquely on a fjord-like bay. It is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Spain and enchants with narrow old town alleys, majestic squares and pretty promenades. Menorca naturally has two sides: in the north, the wild Tramuntana mountain region with a rugged coastline and hidden coves; in the south, rolling hills with vast plains and seemingly endless sandy beaches. Declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the little sister of Mallorca is considerably quieter and more unspoiled.
