You will spend your first day in the charming oasis town of San Pedro de Atacama, 2,400 metres above sea level, nestled in an impressive desert landscape with volcanoes, hot springs and geysers. Explore the village on a stroll through its streets and visit the fascinating museum of Father Le Paige. In the afternoon, an excursion to the Valle de la Luna awaits you, where pink-striped mountains, sand dunes and the spectacular colours of the Cordillera de la Sal characterise the landscape. Early in the morning, drive to the El Tatio Geysers, the third largest geyser field in the world, at an altitude of over 4,200 metres. You will then have the opportunity to bathe in hot springs before travelling on to the highland villages of Chiu Chiu and Caspana, where you can go hiking or mountain biking. On the way, you will see the spectacular Salar de Atacama and the village of Toconao with its traditional adobe architecture. On the first day of your Easter Island exploration experience the magic of Rapa Nui up close. Early in the morning, there is the option of a private excursion to Tongariki to experience the marvellous sunrise behind the majestic moais and enjoy breakfast. Then return to the hotel. Afterwards, discover the dwelling caves and moai platforms in Akahanga on the south coast, which are still unrestored and provide an authentic picture of the island's history. On the second day more fascinating discoveries are on the programme. Your third day on Easter Island begins with a visit to Ahu Tongariki, the largest and most impressive ahu, where 15 reconstructed moais gaze majestically over the island. Continue to Rano Raraku, the former volcano and famous quarry where the moais were carved from tuff rock, scattered unfinished figures tell of times past. You drive to Ahu Te Pito Kura, the „navel of the world“, and experience the picturesque Anakena beach. In the afternoon, visit Ahu Akivi and the Puna Pau quarry before returning to the hotel.
