Boutique hotel in an old fortress above the cliffs
An old military fortress on the eastern shore of the wide bay of Palma: the luxury boutique hotel with 24 suites was only opened in 2010. The cliff-top location offers fantastic views of the sea and the city in the distance. The more than 100-year-old fortress has been effectively staged and is an elegant backdrop for the lovingly designed hotel. The staff wear white robes. Electric buggies connect the suites with the main building and the beach.

The Hotel Cap Rocat is located on the cliff in the bay of Cala Brava in Palma de Mallorca. Palma Cathedral is around 20 minutes away by car. This luxury boutique hotel has been built within the historic walls of an old castle and offers an enchanting blend of historical charm and modern design.

Location: The Hotel Cap Rocat is located directly on the beach, on the cliffs of the steep coast, surrounded by nature in a nature reserve. Steps lead down to Calo de la Reina beach and you can reach the water via a bathing plateau
The saltwater infinity pool is located on a fortress wall and offers fantastic views. The spa offers various interesting beauty treatments, including a "golden body wrap" with caviar and gold extracts.
Sports enthusiasts will find a tennis court, a jogging trail and various water sports facilities. Yoga classes are also offered.
You have the choice between two restaurants: time-honoured dishes and natural preparations at the Sea Club or the most advanced techniques and love for the product under the direction of Víctor García, head chef at La Fortaleza.
La Fortaleza
A rustic yet imposing room for up to 30 guests in the main building of the historic fortress. Look forward to a new interpretation of Mallorca's gastronomic tradition.
Sea Club
The casual restaurant with a large outdoor area is the perfect place for typical Mallorcan summer dishes: meat and fish from the oven or grill, a rice pan and fresh wine. Accompanied by the fresh sea breeze.
Breakfast
You can enjoy breakfast in the hotel restaurant or have it brought to your room in a hamper.
Suite del Mar
Just a few steps from Cap Rocat's private beach, this unique suite is secluded from the rest of the other suites.
A carefully restored Mallorcan-style cottage is surrounded by a private garden. It also includes a small overflow pool and a spacious terrace with sun loungers and a table and chairs for breakfast, lunch or dinner on the veranda. The interiors are decorated with fine wood and natural linen fabrics in soft sand and white tones. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, there is a desk and armchairs. The seclusion and freedom of an independent suite with the comfort and service that characterise Cap Rocat. 35 m²
Suite El Cabo
The El Cabo suite is located in what is probably the most beautiful spot on Cap Rocat. Its large lounge has been furnished with unique furniture and artefacts. The suite also boasts a private pool and private terraces.
This magnificent suite is named after the cape on which the Cap Rocat fortress is located. The interior is divided into three connected areas with vaulted ceilings that form an open space without doors. The El Cabo suite has three terraces on different levels, a private swimming pool with green areas and a gazebo from which you can enjoy the sea breeze and the impressive views of the bay of Palma. 50 m²
Suite Sentinel
The three Centinela rooms were carved into the rock at the former defence posts where the cannons were hidden. The marble floors, stone walls and wooden ceilings give the rooms an incomparably natural and cave-like character. Inside, they are furnished with a small desk, two armchairs and another table and have two bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bathtub) with mirrored doors overlooking the sea. Private small swimming pool, deckchairs, table and chairs. On the outdoor terraces on the edge of the rocky coast, you can enjoy the view and the incredible sunsets in complete seclusion. 40 - 50 m²
Suite Cap Rocat
The atypical Cap Rocat suites offer a small interior living area with sofa, armchair, bistro table and desk. All beds are king-size (some with canopies) and the décor has a Mediterranean feel, from the Moroccan carpets to the Mallorcan diamond patterns that adorn the fabrics. The three levels of private terraces give these suites the character and seclusion essential to the Cap Rocat experience. 60 m²
Double Fortaleza
These rooms have vaulted ceilings and local stone floors. They are furnished with extra-large comfortable beds, a desk and a reading chair. The bathroom has a bathtub, a separate shower and two individual washbasins for maximum comfort. The soaps and cosmetic products are organic and made according to traditional Mallorcan craftsmanship. The room opens onto a furnished outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the Mediterranean climate. 25 m²
