The Tiamo is located in the south of the island of Andros, the largest of the 700 islands of the Bahamas, overlooking the third largest barrier reef in the world and the largest nature park in the entire Bahamas and Caribbean archipelago. The public areas are spacious, with a magnificent infinity pool and private beach under palm trees. The 11 villas and 2 rooms are built in traditional Bahamian style, surrounded by lush green palm trees and have direct access to the white sandy beach.

The resort is perfectly located on a quiet bay and is a perfect place for water skiing and wakeboarding. Divers can enjoy a spectacular reef just off the coast, while the calm, colourful shallows are a paradise for snorkelling, paddle boarding or a trip in a transparent canoe. The waters are a fantastic spot for deep-sea fishing. The "Tongue of the Ocean" is a famous underwater canyon just a mile from shore.
Excursions take you to the island's mangroves, the "nursery" for sharks, turtles and dolphins. The hotel will also be happy to organise a snorkelling trip with a marine biologist or walks and hikes through the interior of the island.
The Great Room: Colourful artwork adorns the sea-blue wooden walls, while candles light the tables and the gentle tropical breeze and the sound of the sea can be heard. This is the ultimate setting in which to enjoy your meal. If you wish, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the open air.

Sunset Rooms
Two "petite" rooms, approximately 20 m² each, are located directly on the beach and offer a breathtaking view of the Bahamian sunset. Both rooms are identical in size and structure, furnished with a queen-size bed and a simple private bathroom with the beach at your doorstep. The veranda leads directly onto the white sand.
Cool Villa
The three Cool Villas by Tiamo are stylish eco-chic in the midst of greenery and nature. The Cool Villas are built on stilts and harmonise with the natural elements on site. The refreshing sea breeze flows under and around the villas, keeping them cool. Sit on the balcony at sunset with a cool drink and enjoy the beautiful panorama. It's the perfect way to become one with nature in complete comfort and style. 65 m², surrounded by green nature, just a short walk to the beach.
Starlight Villa
For those seeking absolute seclusion and a perfect romantic holiday, the Starlight Villa is the right choice. Tucked away from the rest, this is your own personal hideaway. With its elegant décor reflecting the dreamy colours of the natural blues of the ocean and the white sands of the island, and surrounded by the vibrant colours of the tropical trees and flowers of the Bahamas, this beautiful traditional-style Caribbean villa with a large living room is located directly on the private beach. Pool Villa
These five villas are located just a few metres from the white sands of beautiful South Beach, surrounded by the lush greenery of the island. The five open-plan pool villas combine stylish driftwood tones in the living areas with striking recycled glass and natural stone in the bathrooms. Each bathroom is equipped with double stone sinks and eco-friendly toiletries. There is a spacious walk-in wardrobe, a wet bar and a coffee maker with fair trade coffee and tea. Their secluded terraces with private pools offer absolute tranquillity.
Full Moon Villa
This villa is furnished in elegant island style and has direct access to the beach and a view of the sunset. It has two bedrooms, with a king-size bed and two single beds and two bathrooms. Enjoy the private terrace and share time with nature. This is the perfect accommodation to switch off from the outside world.
German nationals require a passport to enter the country, which must be valid for at least six months after the end of the journey. A visa is not required for a tourist stay of up to 90 days.
The Bahamas is very warm all year round. The main precipitation falls in short, heavy showers from July to November. The average annual temperature is just under 25 °C, with average daily temperatures reaching 32 °C in summer.
A yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for all travellers coming from an acute yellow fever area. Children under 12 months are exempt. A booster vaccination against yellow fever is no longer recommended by the WHO. Tetanus, diphtheria and hepatitis A are recommended. You can find current vaccination recommendations at www.rki.de
