On the small, crescent-shaped island of Astove, around 1,000 kilometres southwest of Mahé, guests can expect a unique natural experience far away from everyday life. The island, part of the archipelago around Astove and Charlotte, offers an authentic Creole environment and is reminiscent of the atmosphere of a Robinson Crusoe island dream.
A seemingly endless beach stretches out just a few steps away from the charming residence, its white sand gently merging into the glistening turquoise blue of the Indian Ocean. This is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike: Snorkelling and diving will immerse you in a fascinating underwater world, where colourful coral reefs and exotic fish species await you. The waves are perfect for surfing, while the calm lagoons are ideal for kayaking, taking you further into the dreamlike tranquillity of this unique natural environment with every paddle stroke. Fishing enthusiasts have the opportunity to go fly fishing in the crystal-clear waters. And those who prefer to enjoy the tranquil beach life can take a leisurely stroll, feel the fresh sea breeze, bury their feet in the warm sand and simply unwind.
The Astove Coral House will spoil you with delicious Creole cuisine. Your package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the morning, a typical English breakfast awaits you, followed by a buffet lunch or a picnic that you can enjoy en route. In the evening, a buffet is served in the dining room. The dishes are inspired by the Creole style of the Seychelles, with fresh fish playing a central role.
Room
The cosy main house, built in 1968 by the Veevers-Carter family, accommodates six individually designed double rooms. Each room is spacious, comfortable and furnished in the style of Creole originality. The centrepiece is a large double bed and the rooms have private bathrooms with shower and WC. Here you will find peace and comfort, and in the elegant lounge area you can relax with books and magazines or socialise with other guests.

German nationals do not require a visa to enter the Seychelles. Upon entry, the passport must be valid until at least the end of the planned duration of the trip and have at least two free pages.
The tropical climate in the Seychelles is influenced by the monsoon. Between December and March, the rather windless north-west monsoon brings rain to the islands, while the windy, dry south-east monsoon influences the Seychelles' climate from May to September. In April and from October to November there is a relatively windless phase. Despite these different conditions, the average temperature remains constant at around 30 degrees.
No proof of vaccination is required for direct entry from Germany. However, the Federal Foreign Office recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute and completing them if necessary.
