Nukutepipi Private Island is a secluded private island, around a 1.5-hour flight from Papeete on Tahiti, surrounded by the blue expanse of the Pacific Ocean. You don't go to Nuku to stay inside and watch films all day. Guests can go kitesurfing, outrigger canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, deep-sea fishing or whale watching. Nukutepipi is a treasure trove of water sports: you can snorkel, dive and swim with humpback whales, depending on the season and as often as you like. Or you can go deep-sea fishing, reef fishing or simply stay ashore or laze around in the beautiful lagoon. The Tuamotu archipelago enjoys more sunshine than anywhere else in French Polynesia. Therefore, it is always a good time to travel there. Our top tip - try the low season (April - May and October - November) to enjoy the best combination of diving and sunshine. If whale watching is your main motivation, July to November is the best time to visit.
