Desroches Island is one of the best diving and fishing spots in the world. The Blue Safari team at the Castaway Centre will work with you to plan your individual adventure on or under the water. The pristine dive sites around Desroches and its neighbouring islands are famous for their warm water, excellent visibility, beautiful coral reefs, variety of fish species and unique topography. You can even try your hand at fly fishing under expert guidance.
And when you return from your eventful day, you can enjoy an extensive wellness and pampering programme that leaves nothing to be desired. Desroches Island is home to a Discovery Centre where visitors can learn all about the island's flora and fauna on land and at sea. The turtle reserve protects the giant endangered Aldabra tortoises. During an outdoor film night, you can relax on comfortable sofas and armchairs and enjoy the film screening with classic cinema fare. The little ones are also catered for: from a playground and kids' club to a varied programme of activities such as cooking, feeding turtles and fishing. There is also a main pool on the beach. Divers get their money's worth on Desroches Island. The reefs around Desroches Island offer ideal conditions, currents and visibility, with the best time being from the end of October to March.

German nationals do not require a visa to enter the Seychelles. Upon entry, the passport must be valid until at least the end of the planned duration of the trip and have at least two free pages.
No proof of vaccination is required for direct entry from Germany. However, the Federal Foreign Office recommends checking the standard vaccinations according to the current vaccination calendar of the Robert Koch Institute and completing them if necessary.
The tropical climate in the Seychelles is influenced by the monsoon. Between December and March, the rather windless north-west monsoon brings rain to the islands, while the windy, dry south-east monsoon influences the Seychelles' climate from May to September. In April and from October to November there is a relatively windless phase. Despite these different conditions, the average temperature remains constant at around 30 degrees.
